Ronald Visser

Ronald Visser joined the Supervisory Board of The Netherlands Helsinki Committee in September 2024.

Visser currently heads up the Donor Relations team at ‘Solidaridad’, a global organisation working throughout supply chains to make sustainability the norm. He previously lived and worked in Belgrade, Skopje, Pretoria, London and Berlin working on a variety of international development and governance issues, including press freedom (for Free Press Unlimited) as well as anti-corruption (with the International Secretariat of Transparency International). Visser has an in-depth experience in organisational development, governance, strategy, planning and monitoring and evaluation. He is also member of the audit committee of NHC. His main expertise is resource development and managing donor partnerships.

Visser holds a Master’s Degree in Contemporary History of Central and Eastern Europe.
