Case Studies on Transborder Corruption
The ‘Expert Group on Fighting Transborder Corruption’ of the EU-Russia Civil Society Forum (CSF) has released a new publication entitled ‘Journalistic investigations into cases of transborder corruption’.
The handbook, composed of a wide collection of case studies, is meant to present methods of investigation into transborder corruption to journalists as well as others interested in the topic. It seeks to outline and exemplify the various modes of carrying out investigations, concluding with general recommendations for the successful exposure of transborder corruption cases. Investigative methods that are covered include the use of public registers, big data analysis, undercover investigations and using the ‘dark web’.
The publication has been written by investigative journalists from the EU and Russia.
The publication can be found on the CSF’s website in English http://eu-russia-csf.org/news-csf/a-collection-of-case-studies-on-methods-of-anti-corruption-investigation-published/ and in Russian http://eu-russia-csf.org/ru/news-einzelansicht-rus/news-csf-single/opublikovan-sbornik-statei-o-metodakh-antikorrupcionnogo-rassledovanija/
