As in previous years the Netherlands Helsinki Committee will participate in the OSCE ODIHR Human Dimension Implementation Meeting (HDIM) to be held in Warsaw, 24 September - 5 October 2012. The NHC will be active threefold.NGOs call for more OSCE efforts in realizing human dimension commitments

Independent civil society organizing for the defence of human rights is becoming increasingly difficult in many OSCE participating states. The OSCE should do more to promote freedom of association, to protect human rights defenders and to improve freedom of movement.
