Looking to the future: NHC Strategy 2019-2022
A public version of the NHC’s multiannual strategy for 2019-2022 is now available online.
The document outlines how the NHC plans to advance its mission – that citizens in OSCE countries can live peacefully in more open and just societies – through continuing to work towards strengthening civil society, securing rule of law, and safeguarding human rights.
The document highlights the context in which the NHC has been, and will continue to, operate in, and examines both the challenges and opportunities that such a context presents. Specifically, the document outlines what instruments and target groups have been chosen for each specific programme and outlines the rationale behind such decisions.
Building on the previous strategy for 2015-2018, the NHC Strategy 2019-2022 will serve as the foundation from which the organisation will contribute to the broader international agenda of realising human rights for all.
