Partner NGO IFS-Emmaus needs support to deal with effects of flooding
The Netherlands Helsinki Committee and the Center for International Legal Cooperation call for support to NHC’s partner organization IFS-Emmaus in Bosnia-Herzegovina to help deal with the consequences of the catastrophic flooding. At this moment IFS-Emmaus works on the preparation and distribution of basic emergency packages with food and other necessities to the most vulnerable areas and families. IFS-Emmaus itself has also been affected: its central office facilities in Doboj and the office in Srebrenica were flooded. The NHC and CILC have given a small financial contribution from their own reserves to IFS-Emmaus and NHC and CILC staff are giving additional contributions. However further funding for purchasing basic supplies, distributing them and starting reconstruction is highly necessary!
Please transfer your donation to bank account number 417808 of the Netherlands Helsinki Committee indicating ‘Watersnoodramp’.
