Practical Guide for Relatives of Disappeared Persons and NGOs
The NHC is re-publishing Using Law Against Enforced Disappearances, a practical guide on legal strategies for relatives of disappeared persons and NGOs, that was issued in 2009 by Aim for human rights, a now defunct Dutch human rights organisation. The initiative of Aim for human rights compiled experiences gathered from many organisations of families of disappeared persons and NGOs, and intended to enhance the capacities of victims of enforced disappearances to initiate legal actions for truth and justice. You can take a look at the guide in five different languages here.
An appendix to this Practical Guide on actions made possible by the creation of the monitoring committee of the International Covenant on Enforced Disappearances with issued in 2015.
