Publication: Promoting a Victim Centred Approach in Trafficking Cases in Bosnia and Herzegovina
The research “Promoting a Victim Centred Approach in Trafficking Cases” assesses the treatment of trafficked persons in criminal and other relevant legal proceedings and their access to legal aid and representation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The analysis is based on the minimum standards regarding the rights of trafficked persons, as contained in the UN Protocol, the Council of Europe Convention on Action against Trafficking, EU law and other relevant international standards. It was written by the International Forum of Solidarity EMMAUS(IFS) in close cooperation with anti-trafficking and human rights expert Ms. Marjan Wijers. EMMAUS is NHC’s NGO partner in the project Promoting a Victim-Centered Approach in Trafficking Cases in Albania and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
