Shadow report on the Kyrgyz Repblic’s implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child

Netherlands Helsinki Committee’s partner in Kyrgyzstan, the Child Rights Defender’s League (Liga Zaschitnikov Prav Rebyonka) has coordinated the writing of a shadow report on the implementation by the Republic of Kyrgyzstan of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. The report submitted by the the Republic of Kyrgyzstan will be considered by the Committee on the Rights of the Child in their May-June session 2014.

The shadow report was supported by the Netherlands Helsinki Committee in the context of the project: “Countering discrimination of women and children and promoting their rights by changing social and economic policies in Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan“. This project is funded through the Human Rights Fund of the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
