Koen Goei joined the organisation in January 2018, as Programme Manager for Probation. He studied European Studies at the University of Amsterdam (MA) and holds a diploma of the Institut des Hautes Études Européennes (now a part of the Institut d’études politiques of the University of Strasbourg).

Koen started his professional career in the sector of development cooperation. Later on he worked for the Confederation of European Probation as a Liaison Officer. In this position he developed and maintained contacts with European institutions. He initiated and managed various European projects in the field of probation.
