Marjolein Kuijers joined NHC in August 2019 as a Programme Officer in Criminal Justice Reform. She has over ten years of experience working in the NGO sector in the Netherlands and Latin America, with a focus on human rights and justice. In particular, Marjolein has specialised in issues relating to the rule of law and the right to protest. Most recently, she worked as a Coordinator and Project Officer for the Public Interest Litigation Project of the Dutch International Commission of Jurists (NJCM).

Marjolein has background in international relations, human rights and Latin America studies.
