Ward Bouwers

Ward Bouwers became a member of the Supervisory Board of The Netherlands Helsinki Committee in September 2024.

Bouwers’ professional career consisted of positions in marketing and sales, management consulting and since 1998 in (impact) investments. Initially he worked for 10 years with Halder (currently Gimv) in the Dutch private equity mid market. In 2014 he joined Triple Jump, an impact investment management company focused on developing countries. He started as Head of Equity and subsequently became Advisor Equity Investments. He is also a member of the audit committee of NHC. His voluntary activities consist of, amongst others, being the treasurer of ‘Gaarkeuken Rotterdam’ and acting as a mentor with ‘Rotterdamse Douwers’.

Bouwers holds a Master’s degree in Business Economics from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
