Ward Bouwers and Ronald Visser appointed to the NHC Supervisory Board
The NHC is pleased to announce the appointment of two new member to the organisation’s Supervisory Board.

Ward Bouwers joins the Board as a member of the Audit Committee. His professional career consists of positions in marketing and sales, management consulting and in (impact) investments. Currently, he holds a position as Advisory Equity Investments at Triple Jump, an impact investment management company. Ronald Visser has also joined the Audit Committee of the NHC’s Supervisory Board. Visser is currently the Head of Donor Relations at Solidaridad, a global organisation working throughout supply chains to make sustainability the norm. He has previously worked in Belgrade, Skopje, Pretoria, London and Berlin on a variety of international development and governance issues.
The two new members join Kees van Rij (Chairperson), Anne Maljers (Vice-chair), Marjolijn van Oordt (Stakeholder Management & Media) and Mariska Baaij (NGO Management) on the Supervisory Board. The role of the Supervisory Board is to advise on medium and long-term policies and strategies of the Netherlands Helsinki Committee. The Supervisory Board also acts to approve policy and strategy plans, reports and the annual state of accounts prepared by the Board (Executive Director) of the organisation.
